Bangkok: In recognition of his exceptional leadership and contributions, the World Meet Committee is set to honor Jurapas Pitaksethakarn of Thailand with a prestigious high position within the organization. Jurapas, who served as the President of the 4th World Meet held in Bangkok, has been instrumental in advancing the mission of World Meet and promoting international unity through martial arts.

Under Jurapas’s presidency, the 4th World Meet, which took place on 8th May 2024 at the Royal Rattnakoshin Hotel in Bangkok, was a resounding success. The event saw participation from 55 countries, including a significant contingent from Indonesia, highlighting the global reach and appeal of World Meet. His leadership ensured a seamless and memorable event that celebrated excellence, cultural exchange, and the spirit of martial arts.

Looking ahead, the World Meet Committee is excited to announce the upcoming schedule of events:

– 5th World Meet: Scheduled to be held in Manchester, UK, on 8th September 2024. This event will be directed by M. A. Ali, the founder and President of World Meet, Vice President Tony Taylor and His Majesty the King will serve as the chief guest, promising an event of grand scale and significance.

– 6th World Meet: Proposed to take place in West Sumatra, Indonesia, on 27th April 2025. The invitation to host this event has been extended to H. Mahyeldi Ansharullah. S.P., the Governor of West Sumatra, highlighting Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and the enthusiasm of its participants.

– 7th World Meet: Scheduled to return to Thailand on 20th September 2025, continuing the tradition of excellence and cultural celebration in a country that has been pivotal to the success of previous meets.

The World Meet, under the visionary leadership of M. A. Ali, strives to create a platform for promoting peace, mutual respect, and understanding through the universal language of martial arts. Ali, a highly respected 10th level black belt and 6th level Thai black belt, has dedicated his life to this mission, further evidenced by his founding of the Universal Peace Rally and his recognition by the government of America as a hero of gender equality.
