طفرة في مساحة الأراضي الزراعية والتوسع الرأسي.

السيسي خلال لقائه مدير عام منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة الأمريكية.

جمهورية مصر العربية تسعي لتجاوز هذا التحدي جذرياً بزيارة الرقعة الزراعية والتركيز علي البحث العلمي.

أستقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي القائد العام والأعلي للقوات المسلحة المصرية أمس الأحد السيد “شو دونيو” مدير عام منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة الفاو والوفد المرافق له وذلك بحضور السيد ” السيد محمد مرزوق القصير وزير الزراعة وإستصلاح الأراضي والسيد المستشار السفير أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي بإسم رئاسة الجمهورية.

كما أن اللقاء شهد تأكيد الإعتزاز المتبادل بالشراكة الثنائية طويلة الأمد بين مصر والفاو التي تنعكس في مشروعات التنمية المتعددة في مجالي الزراعة والغذاء وكذلك في التوقيع الذي تم علي الإتفاق القطري الجديد بين الجانبين للفترة 2024-2027 وأعرب مدير عام الفاو عن تقديره الكبير لما شاهده خلال زيارته الحالية لمصر من تطور تنموي لافت عمرانياً وزراعياً وصناعياً مؤكداً إلتزام الفاو بمواصلة وتكثيف التعاون مع مصروشهد اللقاء أيضاً التباحث بشأن أزمة الغذاء العالمية وبالأخص ما يتعلق بتداعيات الأزمة الروسية الأوكرانية علي مصر كونها أحد أكبر مستورد الحبوب في العالم حيث أوضح السيد الرئيس سعي مصر لتجاوز هذا التحدي بشكل جذري من خلال تحقيق طفرة في مساحة الأراضي الزراعية وكذلك من حيث التوسع الرأسي عن طريق التركيز على البحث العلمي والتكنولوجي لتحسين الإنتاجية منوهاً في هذا الصدد إلى المشروعات الزراعية الضخمة التي تنفذها الدولة لتحقيق هذا الهدف والتي أثمرت عن بدء إنتاج مئات الألاف من الأفدنة الجديدة بما يصل ذلك إلى 4 ملايين فدان تدخل الخدمة خلال عامين الجاري والقادم وإستخدام التكنولوجيا لتحسين الإنتاجية وقد أوضح مدير الفاو متابعته والمنظمة بشكل وثيق للتجربة المصرية في التنمية الزراعية ما تم منها وما يجري تنفيذه مؤكداً حرصه على تعميق التعاون القائم بين مصر والمنظمة في هذا الإطار بما يدعم مصر في تحقيق أهدافها الطموحة لتحسين الأمن الغذائي للشعب المصري كما شهد اللقاء التباحث المعمق بشأن الأوضاع في قطاع غزة حيث تناول اللقاء الأوضاع الإنسانية الكارثية التي تصل إلى حد المجاعة في القطاع وجهود مصر المكثفة لإدخال المساعدات براً وجواً لإغاثة أهالي غزة وأعرب مدير الفاو في هذا الإطار عن بالغ التقدير للدور المصري التاريخي الذي يتسم بأعلى درجات المسئولية والتجرد مستعرضاً جهود الفاو في هذا الإطار ومؤكداً الحرص علي تقديم كافة سبل الدعم للجهود المصرية لإنفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية لأهالي القطاع.

 The Arab Republic of Egypt seeks to radically overcome this challenge by visiting the agricultural area and focusing on scientific research.

 Mr President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Commander in Chief and Supreme Commander of the Egyptian Armed Forces received yesterday Sunday Mr Qu Dongyu Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Mr Mr Mohamed Marzouk Al Qasir Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and Mr consultant Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy the official spokesman for Presidency.

 The meeting also witnessed a confirmation of mutual pride in the long term bilateral partnership between Egypt and FAO which is reflected in multiple development projects in the fields of agriculture and food as well as in the signing of the new Qatari agreement between the two sides for the period 2024-2027 The Director General of FAO expressed his great appreciation for what he saw during his visit Egypt s current development has witnessed a remarkable urban agricultural and industrial development stressing FAO s commitment to continuing and intensifying cooperation with Egypt The meeting also witnessed discussion of the global food crisis especially with regard to the repercussions of the Russian Ukrainian crisis on Egypt as it is one of the largest importers of grains in the world Mr President explained Egypt s endeavor to overcome this challenge in a way Radical by achieving a breakthrough in the area of agricultural land as well as in terms of vertical expansion by focusing on scientific and technological research to improve productivity noting in this regard to the huge agricultural projects implemented by the state to achieve this goal which resulted in the start of production of hundreds of thousands of new acres including To 4 million feddans will be put into service within the current and next two years and the use of technology to improve productivity The FAO Director explained that he and the organization are closely following the Egyptian experience in agricultural development what has been done and what is being implemented stressing his keenness to deepen the existing cooperation between Egypt and the organization in this framework in a way that supports Egypt in achieving Its ambitious goals are to improve food security for the Egyptian people The meeting also witnessed an in depth discussion of the situation in the Gaza Strip The meeting discussed the catastrophic humanitarian conditions that reach the point of famine in the Strip and Egypt s intensified efforts to bring in aid by land and air to relieve the people of Gaza In this context the FAO Director expressed great appreciation for the role The historic Egyptian who is characterized by the highest levels of responsibility and impartiality reviewed FAO s efforts in this context and stressed the keenness to provide all means of support for the Egyptian efforts to implement humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
