Due to the efforts of Pakistan High Commission New Delhi, a Pakistani youth imprisoned in India was released.
Indian authorities handed over 18-year-old Pakistani youth Farhan Khan to Pakistan Rangers Punjab at the Wagah border. Farhan Khan hails from Tehsil Chishtian, District Bahawalnagar of Punjab and was arrested by Indian authorities in 2019.
Farhan Khan got angry with his family and crossed the border by mistake. According to the spokesman of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, the release of the young man, who returned to Pakistan on Thursday, has been possible due to continuous contacts and efforts with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and the Indian authorities.
