INSECURITY IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO NORTH KIVU PROVINCE RUTSHURU/RUGARI TERRITORY Here are the results of the attacks of the March 23 M23 movement supported by neighboring countries, including Rwanda and Uganda, according to allegations by the Congolese government. This fight which lasts several years and stop for a few weeks thus opposing the rebels of the M23 to the Congolese government did not leave the population of this territory quietude. The consequences are enormous, in particular the murders, the massive displacement of the population, thus making the humanitarian situation more worrying. The displaced are without real assistance, starvation, children and women exposed to disease and are homeless. Others died by intentionally aimed shells in villages and kidnappings. Here are the names of our civilians killed by the M23 since Friday 28/10-31/10/2022*

A total of 16 people died and some injured on 28-31/10/2022 in the group of RUGARI territory of RUTSHURU during clashes between M23 rebels and government forces, 11 people on 16 were crushed by shrapnel of bombs launched by the rebels in Provence from Nyesisi and Nyamahanga.

The other 5 were passengers who traveled on the national road no. 2 (RN2) in Provence from RUTSHURU to Goma on board a mini bus.

and 2 other deformed corpses whose identity was unclear.
Note that these 11 people were found in 3 houses that were damaged by bombs.
Only Mr. Marcel sibwanone was buried, but other 8 corpses remain until now on the ground in Rugari.

The night of this Tuesday, November 1, 2022 around 8 p.m. the angry displaced people who are located in the KANYARUCHINYA displaced persons site 5 km north of Goma set fire to MONUSCO vehicles, these after a dispute wanting to check whether they are not carrying not infiltrators of the M23 because often indexed by the population which declares its inertia vis-a-vis the multiple killings of the population in Ituri, Beni, Butembo and elsewhere.
Remember that for 3 months the current between the Kivutian population and the UN forces has not passed. Several anti-minusco demonstrations have been organized in several towns and villages to drive out MONUSCO following their remarks and their tendency to pose as lawyers for the M23 rebels.
