Indian team will leave today to participate in the World Karate Championship

Kolkata: India’s 30-member team will leave for Bangkok today to participate in the World Karate Championship. The Indian team will be led by former world champion and international karate coach MA Ali. 17 members of the Indian team are from Kolkata. Which will fly to Bangkok from Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Sunday under the leadership of Monimala Haldar.

Let us tell you that this year the World Meet will be held on May 8 in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. World Karate Championship is organized under the World Meet. In which players from more than 50 countries of the world will participate. Three kings will attend the tournament as chief guests. Apart from them, members of 30 different royal families from around the world will also grace the world meet.

World Meet Director MA Ali said that for the first time the responsibility of this international event will be in the hands of the Thai Army. The Thai Army will conduct the entire programme. MA Ali said that we have full hope that the Indian team will perform brilliantly in the World Karate Championship.
